    Items Changed Simultaneously When Setting the FIPS Mode

    If you enable the FIPS mode, the following settings are simultaneously changed.

    • If the IPsec encryption/authentication algorithm is outside the FIPS standard, IPsec turns off.

    • If [E-Mail Text Encrypt. Method] of S/MIME is outside the FIPS standard, it changes to AES-128.

    • If the SNMP v3 authentication algorithm is outside the FIPS standard, it changes to SHA-256.

    • TCP Sockets is turned off.
