The status indicator LED does not turn off.
When the status indicator light lights and an error is indicated on the touch panel on Roll Winder RW-201, press [Error] to display the parts where an error has occurred.
Roll Winder RW-101
If [Paper feed section malfunction] lights, press [Paper feed section malfunction] to display where to check.
Cause | Remedy |

[Roll end] lights in red. | The roll end (paper runs out) has been detected. Replace the media. After clearing the error, press [Error reset] on the touch panel. |
[Bail 1] or [Bail 2]lights in red. | READY on the control panel is pressed while the media pressing bar 1/media pressing bar 2 are locked. Press WEB GRIPPER1 and WEB GRIPPER2 to release the media pressing bars. |
[Safety cover] lights in red. | The top cover or media cover is open. Close the cover. After clearing errors, press EMG.RESET on the control panel of Roll Winder RW-101/Roll Winder RW-201. |
[Loose press roller] lights in red. | The rubber roller is detached. Move the lever to attach the rubber roller. After clearing the error, press [Error reset] on the touch panel. |
Roll Winder RW-201
If [Winding section malfunction] lights, press [Winding section malfunction] to display where to check.
Cause | Remedy |

[Paper cutting] lights in red. | Media is broken in Roll Winder RW-201. Paste it with tape or replace the media. After clearing the error, press [Error reset] on the touch panel. If an error is indicated even though no media break is found, refer to The media-break sensor malfunctions. |
[Wind max roll diameter] lights in red. | The maximum winding diameter has been detected. Remove the media and replace with a new media core. After clearing the error, press [Error reset] on the touch panel. |
[Stop winding] lights in red. | REWIND MOTOR OFF is pressed during the conveyor operation. Press REWIND MOTOR ON to start conveyor operation. After clearing the error, press [Error reset] on the touch panel. |
The [Wind motor malfunction] lights in red. | The winding motor is overloaded. Contact your service representative. |
[Safety cover] lights in red. | The top cover or media cover is open. Close the cover. After clearing errors, press EMG.RESET on the control panel of Roll Winder RW-101/Roll Winder RW-201. |
