Loading Paper to the Large Capacity Unit

The paper loading procedure of Large Capacity Unit LU-303 is the same as that of Large Capacity Unit LU-205. The following procedure describes how to load paper into the optional Large Capacity Unit LU-303. The Large Capacity Unit is optional.

  1. Open the Upper Door.

    NOTICE
    • Be careful not to touch the surface of the Paper Feed Rollers with your hand.

  2. Lift the Paper Feed Rollers, and load the paper with the required side facing downward.

    NOTICE
    • Do not load an excessive number of sheets such that the top of the stack is higher than the Down-pointing triangle mark.

    • Do not load custom sized paper into the Large Capacity Unit. When changing the paper size, contact your service representative.

    • If paper is curled, flatten it before loading it.

  3. Close the Upper Door.

    When you change the paper type, proceed to step 4 to change the setting on this machine.
    When you do not change the paper type when adding paper, you can use the current setting without making any changes.

  4. If necessary, change the paper setting of the tray on the Paper Setting screen.
