Paper Feed Rollers of Bypass Tray

  1. Open the Bypass Tray.

  2. Wipe off the paper feed rollers with a soft and dry cloth.

  3. Close the Bypass Tray.

Paper Feed Rollers of Tray1, Tray2, or Tray3

Tray2 or Tray3 is available when the optional Paper Feeder Unit is installed on this machine.

  1. Pull out the Tray.

  2. Wipe off the paper feed rollers with a soft and dry cloth.

  3. Close the Tray.

Transport Rollers of Tray2 or Tray3

Tray2 or Tray3 is available when the optional Paper Feeder Unit is installed on this machine.

  1. Open the Right Door of Tray2 or Tray3.

    supplementary explanationWhen opening the Right Door of Tray2 or Tray3, be sure to fold the Bypass Tray in advance.

  2. Wipe off the transport roller using a soft, dry cloth.

  3. Close the Right Door of Tray2 or Tray3.

Paper Feed Rollers of ADF

  1. Open the ADF Feed Cover.

  2. Wipe off the paper feed roller at the rear side of the cover using a soft, dry cloth.

  3. Close the ADF Feed Cover.
