Initializing LK-114_SetupTool

Click [Administrator Settings] on the [Settings] menu to initialize LK-114_SetupTool.

Description

[Default Administrator Password]

Specify the default administrator password.

The value specified in this field is displayed as the default on a page that requires entry of the administrator password.

[OpenAPI Authentication Default Settings]

Specify the default user name and password for OpenAPI authentication.

Specify them when using the user name and password for OpenAPI authentication.

The value specified in this field is displayed as the default on a page that requires entry of the user name and password for OpenAPI authentication.

[Connection Settings]

Configure communication settings such as MFP search time or communication timeout (sec.) between MFP and LK-114_SetupTool.

  • [Device Search Settings]: Specify the timeout and TTL (Time To Live) to search for an MFP using LK-114_SetupTool. To obtain serverless pull printing settings simultaneously when searching for an MFP, select the [Serverless pull print settings are acquired during the "Device Search" process.] check box.

  • [MFP and Setup Tool Connection Settings]: Specify the timeout for a communication between the MFP and LK-114_SetupTool.

[Initial setting for serverless pull printing]

Specify the default values that are to be sent to an MFP with new serverless pull printing settings required.

In [Storage Settings], specify defaults for the storage function.

  • [The document will be automatically deleted after it is printed.]: Specify whether to automatically delete print jobs spooled in the storage machine when they have been printed.

  • [Document's Expiration Data]: Specify the time to automatically delete data of print jobs spooled in the storage machine.

  • [IPP Timeout (sec.)]: Specify the timeout to print data using IPP.

In [Client Settings], specify defaults for the client function.

  • [Protocol Settings]: Select a protocol to be used for serverless pull printing from the [IPP] or [Raw] port.

  • [Timeout (sec.)]: Specify the timeout to connect the MFP to the storage machine.

In [Topology Management Settings], specify defaults for the storage function.

  • [Timeout(From topology management device)(sec.)]: Specify the timeout for a communication from the topology machine when using this machine as the topology machine.

  • [Timeout(To topology management device)(sec.)]: Specify the timeout period for a communication with the topology machine when using the MFP as a storage or client machine.
