The default has been changed to ON.

In the changed default setting, if the password is entered 31 times within 5 seconds for user authentication, a password attack is detected.

[Detection for authentication access attacks]

The default has been changed to ON.

In the changed default setting, if accesses occur 101 times within 10 seconds for user authentication, an authentication access attack is detected.

[Password Rules]

The default has been changed to [Complexity 1]. It cannot be set to [Disable].

In the default setting after the change, the following rules are applied to the password set on this machine.

• Minimum number of characters specified in [Set Minimum Password Length]

• Passwords are case sensitive.

• Only single-byte symbols are available.

• A password consisting of a string of identical characters is prohibited.

• The previous password is prohibited.
