About Mopria Scan function

Mopria Scan is a scan method to directly send the data scanned via the compatible scanner or MFP to the Android terminal using the common application that does not depend on manufacturers or models.

This machine, which is compatible with Mopria Scan, can send scanned data to the Mopria Scan application on the Android terminal to save it in the terminal storage or transfer it to another application.

Tips

  • To use this function, the Mopria Scan application must be installed on the Android terminal.

  • For details on the scanning method, refer to Help of the Mopria Scan application.

Preparation required to use this function (for the administrator)

To use the Mopria Scan function, the following preparation is required in advance.

  • Installing the Mopria Scan application on the Android terminal

  • Enabling the Mopria Scan function in [Scan Setting] ( [Scan Setting] )

Tips

  • As the Mopria Scan function is enabled, the Bonjour function is enabled synchronously.
