Replacing an Imaging Unit

Be sure to replace an Imaging Unit with an unused product. If an Imaging Unit is replaced with a used one, the message window may not be cleared.

NOTICE

• Do not touch the surface of the OPC drum. Doing so may reduce printing quality.

1. Open the Front Door.

2. Hold the handle and pull out the Toner Cartridge.

3. Lift the handle and pull out the Imaging Unit.

   To dispose of a used Imaging Unit, utilize a recovery service or dispose of it in accordance with the regulations of the relevant region.

4. Pull out a new Imaging Unit from the packaging bag and shake it.

   NOTICE

   • Do not expose the Imaging Unit to direct sunlight for more than 10 minutes. A long-period exposure causes the print quality to be reduced.

5. Insert a new Imaging Unit.

   Insert it along the arrow indicated on the Side Rail inside the machine.

   

6. Insert the Toner Cartridge.

   Insert it along the arrow indicated on the Side Rail inside the machine.

   

7. Close the Front Door.
