How to use Finisher

Using the optional Finisher allows you to easily staple printed sheets in a corner. This function is useful for preparing a project proposal or other booklet materials.

To staple sheets, align their corners to Finisher.

NOTICE

  • When repeating stapling, wait for three seconds or more after the first stapling has been completed to load the next sheets in order to prevent the internal temperature of Finisher rising excessively.

Tips

  • Up to 20 sheets (plain paper (23-15/16 lb (90 g/m2))) can be stapled at one time.

  • If this machine is in Power Save mode, Finisher will not function. Press the Power key to release the Power Save mode. If Finisher still does not yet function, turn this machine off and on, then reset Finisher.

  • Paper on which an image without margins has been printed will not be stapled because the sensor cannot detect it. Do not load paper on which an image without margins is printed.
