Q5. I can't register the settings adjusted using Both Sides Adjust function in a paper profile.

A5. To register the Both Sides Adjust setting values in a paper profile, follow the steps below.

1. Press [Paper Setting] on the [MACHINE] screen or the [COPY] screen, and then select the tray in which the papers you wish to register are loaded.

2. Press [Change Set] and adjust the settings in [Both Sides Adj.]

3. Press [OK] to return to the [Paper Setting] screen.

4. Press [Register] next to [Paper Profile Name], and select the location to register the settings.

5. Enter a paper profile name of your choice and press [OK]. The set both-side adjustment values are registered in a paper profile.

  • Note that using the Both Sides Adjust function from [Both Sides] on the [MACHINE] screen does not allow the registration of settings as a paper profile.

  • Adjustment values other than from the [Both Sides Adjust] function (paper size, etc.) are also registered in the paper profile.
