This section describes the following adjustment flows as part of the pre-output image quality adjustments on the machine with Image Controller IC-602 mounted.
Adjustment flow when changing the screen
Regular adjustment flow (Standard)
Regular adjustment flow (High accuracy)
In the Regular adjustment flow (Standard), you can perform color density control.
In the Adjustment flow when changing the screen, you can select any screen, and then perform the gamma automatic adjustment and density balance adjustment to control the color density.
In the Regular adjustment flow (High accuracy), you can perform the gamma automatic adjustment and density balance adjustment to control the color density.
For details about the image quality adjustment flow of Image Controller IC-602, refer to Image Quality Adjustment Flow of Image Controller IC-602.
Color density control is a calibration which uses the density sensor of Relay Unit RU-509.
You can execute calibration by using the colorimeter on Color Centro.
Select a calibration method according to the purpose of using the calibration data.
This section describes how to calibrate by using a colorimeter on Color Centro.
If [Use Color Density Control] on the [Adjustment Menu] screen of the main body is set to [ON], you cannot execute calibration by using a colorimeter because calibration data is generated automatically. Make the following settings to execute the controller calibration.
Set [Use Color Density Control] of the main body to [OFF].
The colorimeter becomes available. You can also execute calibration by using the colorimeter on Color Centro.
Go to Select a Colorimeter.
