Several networks may appear in the Wireless Networks list. Included in this list are any networks currently detected by the printer, plus any profiles for wireless networks stored on the computer.
Networks with the strongest signals are listed first. Choose the same network that the computer is connected to. This may not be the first network listed.
Any wireless networks that do not broadcast their SSIDs and do not have a stored profile on the computer will not appear in the list. To add the printer to one of these networks:
Click Unlisted Network, and then enter the appropriate network information.
Follow the instruction on the computer screen to continue the installation.
| Note: | Avoid selecting a profile from the Wireless Networks list that is not accessible from the installing computer. During the final installation step, the computer will attempt to communicate with the printer over the selected wireless network. If the two devices cannot communicate, then the installation will appear to be unsuccessful. |
