Before you install the printer on an Ethernet network, make sure that:
You have completed the initial setup of the printer.
Your network is set up and working properly.
Your computer is connected to your network.
Insert the Printer Driver and Documentations CD in the CD/DVD drive of your PC.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
A device is detected and it is displayed on a device list. Choose a device to install and click Next.
Choose the component to install and click Next.
Installation was completed.
Insert the Printer Driver and Documentations CD in the CD/DVD drive of your PC.
Copy the driver file onto the desktop.
Double-click the file copied onto the desktop.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Connect the machine to an Ethernet network.
Select System Preference from the Apple menu.
Click Print & Fax or Print & Scan.
In the Print & Fax or Print & Scan dialog, click +.
Select your printer from the list of available printers displayed.
Click Add.
