Restoring Arbitrary Settings Manually

When Reset is pressed on the control panel, the machine clears all the copy conditions specified so far and restores arbitrary settings. This function is called Reset.

Select from [Full Auto] and [Initialize] to choose which conditions are enabled as arbitrary settings.

Copy conditions specified as Full Auto

These settings cannot be changed except Output Setting.

  • [Type]: [Text/Photo (Print)]

  • [Special]: [Normal]

  • [Original Size]: [Standard]

  • [Copy Density]: 0

  • [Background Removal]: 0

  • [Red]/[Green]/[Blue]/[Hue]/[Saturation]/[Brightness]: 0

  • [Sharpness]: 0

  • [Contrast]: 0

  • [Distinction]: [Text] 0, [Color] 0

  • [Screen Pattern]: [Auto]

  • [Color Balance]: 0 for all items

  • [Zoom]: 1.000 (x 1.0)

  • [Simplex/Duplex]: [1->1] (ADF: ON)

  • [Application]: None

  • [Color] Setting: [Full Color]

  • [Auto Paper]: ON

  • [Output Setting]: Sort*

*: When a finisher is connected, settings selected in the utility settings are set ([UTILITY] - [User Setting] - [System Setting] - [Reset Setting] - [Job Reset Setting] - [Finisher Mode when Full Auto]).

Copy conditions specified as Initialize

These are the copy conditions set from the [Copy Initial Setting] screen on the [UTILITY] screen. For details, refer to Copy Initial Setting: Setting the Default Copy Conditions.

If Mode Memory Auto Call is ON and data exists in Mode Memory No. 30, the conditions return to the settings in Mode Memory No. 30.

If Mode Memory Auto Call is OFF or data does not exist in Mode Memory No. 30, the conditions comply with [Copy Initial Setting].
