The following explains the indication for originals and paper described in this guide.
When indicating the original size or paper size, the Y side represents the width and the X side the length.
indicates the paper size with the length (X) being longer than the width (Y).
indicates the paper size with the length (X) being shorter than the width (Y).
The marks displayed for tab paper on the screen are () and () for both original and paper, while T and T are used in this guide.
(Example) A4 () -> A4T , A4 () -> A4T
Portrait original refers to the original fed in horizontal or landscape orientation , when placed to be read normally.
Landscape original refers to the original fed in vertical or portrait orientation , when placed to be read normally.
