Deleting the Printer Driver
When you have to remove the printer driver, for example, when reinstallation of the printer driver is necessary, remove the driver using the following procedure.
Open [System Preferences] in the Apple menu, then click the [Print & Fax] icon.
In Mac OS X 10.7/10.8, click the [Print & Scan] icon. In Mac OS X 10.9, click the [Printer & Scanner] icon.
In Mac OS X 10.2/10.3, select [Macintosh HD] (system hard disk) - [Applications] - [Utilities], then double-click [Printer Setup Utility] or [Print Center] to open it.
Select the printer you want to delete, and then click [-] (or [Delete]).
The selected printer is deleted.
Close the screen.
From [Library] - [Printers] - [PPDs] - [Contents] - [Resources] on [Macintosh HD] where the driver was installed (in Mac OS X 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8/10.9, from [Resources] and in Mac OS X 10.2/10.3/10.4, from [Resources] - [en.lproj], [de.lproj], [es.lproj], [fr.lproj], [it.lproj], [ja.lproj], [ko.lproj], [zh_CN.lproj], and [zh_TW.lproj]), drag the following files to the [Trash] icon.
[KONICAMINOLTAC554e.gz] and [KONICAMINOLTAC454e.gz]
[KONICAMINOLTAC364e.gz] and [KONICAMINOLTAC284e.gz], [KONICAMINOLTAC224e.gz]
Delete unnecessary files from [Library] - [Printers].
Drag the [C554] or [C364] folder, which is located in [Library] - [Printers] - [KONICAMINOLTA], to the [Trash] icon.
In addition, if you are using Mac OS X 10.2, drag all folders with [KONICA MINOLTA C554] or [KONICA MINOLTA C364], which are located in [Library] - [Printers] - [PPDPlugins], to the [Trash] icon.
In Mac OS X 10.2/10.3/10.4/10.5, drag [bizhub C554_C364_xxx.pkg], which is located in [Library] - [Receipts], to the [Trash] icon.
Restart the computer.
This completes the deletion process of the printer driver.
