Specify the default values for PCL printing. This machine operates according to these settings unless the printer driver specifies the print settings.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
[Select Color] | Select the printing colors (default: [Auto Color]).
|
[Symbol Set] | Select the desired font symbol set (the default value varies depending on the area you are in). |
[Font Settings] | Select the desired font (default: [Courier]).
|
[Font Size] | Specify the default font size value.
|
[Line/Page] | Enter the number of lines of text data to be printed on one page (the default value varies depending on the area you are in). |
[CR/LF Mapping] | Select whether to replace the line feed codes when printing text data (default: [OFF]). |
[Bar Code Font Settings] | Configure settings for the bar code font.
|
[Thin Line] | When drawing a thin line in reduced-size printing mode, set this option to ON (default: ON). This is effective for thin lines such as table borders created in Excel, but not for thin lines used in illustrations. |
[Auto Trapping] | When superimposing adjacent colors for printing so as not to generate a white space around a picture, set this option to ON (default: OFF). Setting to ON prevents the generation of white lines at the boundaries of colors in graphs or figures. |
[Bar Code Font Settings] is displayed when the option is installed in this machine. For details on the required option, refer to Here.
