About the Status of Biometric Authentication Unit
The status of the Biometric Authentication Unit is indicated by status indicator LEDs and beep sounds.
Status indicator LEDs | Status |

Light-up (green) | Ready state, or scanning or authentication is completed |
Flash (green) | During authentication |
Light-up (red) | Scanning or authentication failed |
Unlit | The authentication unit is not recognized |
Beep sound | Status |
|---|---|
One short blip sound | Scanning is completed, scanning test was successful or authentication is completed |
Two short blip sounds repeated three times | Scanning failed |
Two short blip sounds | Authentication failed |
