About IC Card Authentication Unit

IC Card Authentication Unit is an "IC card authentication" system that reads the IC card or NFC-compatible Android terminal to perform personal authentication. If you register a compatible noncontact IC card such as an employee ID card, you can use this machine synchronously with functions such as the user entering-leaving management to integrate the authentication system.

If this machine provides user authentication, you can log in to this machine or execute a print job using the IC card or NFC-compatible Android terminal authentication function.

Tips

• To install IC card authentication, the optional unit is required. For details on the required option, refer to [Authentication options] .

• To perform authentication on an Android terminal, the following conditions must be satisfied.
  The target Android terminal has Android 4.4 or later, which is compatible with the HCE function.
  Konica Minolta Mobile Print is installed, and the IC card reader authentication function is enabled.
