IPP Authentication Settings

Configure settings to perform IPP authentication when IPP is used as the serverless pull printing protocol in a client machine while IPP authentication is enabled.

Setting

Description

[User Name]

Enter the user name you want to use for IPP authentication (using up to 20 characters) (default: [UbiquitousUser]).

[Password]

Enter the password you want to use for IPP authentication (using up to 20 characters) (default: [password]).

  • The user name and password for IPP authentication must be the same between all client machines and storage machines that compose a serverless pull printing group.
