
To enable the universal print function on the MFP, register the i-Option LK-114 license.
For details on license registration, refer to Here.
Enable the OpenAPI function on the MFP.
Tap [Utility] - [Administrator Settings] - [System Connection] - [OpenAPI Settings] - [Access Setting].
Select [Allow], then tap [OK].

If you change the SSL Enable/Disable status in [SSL/Port Settings] of [OpenAPI Settings] after universal print settings have been completed, reconfigure settings using LK-114_SetupTool.
Configure the user authentication method for the MFP.
On the MFP, select [Utility] - [Administrator Settings] - [User Authentication/Account Track] - [General Settings] - [User Authentication], then specify one of the following authentication methods.
MFP authentication
External server authentication
MFP authentication + External server authentication (Authentication destination: MFP authentication)
MFP authentication + External server authentication (Authentication destination: External server authentication)

Set the same authentication method to all MFPs that make up a universal print group.

To perform external server authentication using the IC card, you need to permit the Quick Authentication for Printing function. For details on how to permit the Quick Authentication for Printing function, refer to Here.
When composing a universal print group involving different models, permit the Quick Authentication for Printing function.
Tap [Utility] - [Administrator Settings] - [User Authentication/Account Track] - [Print Simple Auth.] - [Authentication Setting].
Select [Allow], then tap [OK].

To use Data Administrator for settings, double-click [Device] on the device list, click [Authentication Settings] - [Simple Print Authentication], then select the [Enable Simple Print Authentication] check box.
