Copying (Basic Operation Flow)

  1. Load the original.

    supplementary explanationWhen loading the original into the ADF, pull out the Document Stopper (1) to prevent the scanned original from falling.

  2. Display the Copy screen of classic style.

  3. Set copy options as needed.

    supplementary explanationSelect [Original Settings] - [Original Size], and specify the size of the target original (default: [8-1/2  11] (inch area)/[A4] (centimeter area)). If you fail to set the original size correctly, the image may be cut off.

    supplementary explanationFor details on option settings, refer to [Copy Option Settings] .

    supplementary explanationA setting change is reflected on the image of [Output]. Therefore, you can configure settings while checking the output image.

  4. If necessary, specify the number of copies using the keypad.

    supplementary explanationTapping [No. of Sets] displays the keypad.

    supplementary explanationTo change the number of copies, tap [C] (Clear).

  5. Use the Start key to start copying.

    supplementary explanationIf desired, tap [Check Setting] before starting a copy, and check the setting.

    supplementary explanationTo cancel copy, use the Stop key to stop copying. A list of the currently stopped jobs is displayed. Select the target job from the list, and delete it.

    supplementary explanationIf [Ready to accept another job.] is displayed during printing, you can scan the next original.
