Registering the sender information
Registering a Fax ID
When sending a fax, register the fax ID (fax number of this machine) to be transmitted to the recipient as the sender information.
Select [Fax Settings] - [Header Information] in administrator mode of Web Connection (or in [Utility] - [Administrator] of this machine), and configure the following settings.

[Sender Fax No.] | Enter the fax number of this machine (using up to 20 digits, including symbols #, *, +, and spaces). The registered fax ID is automatically added to the fax sent from this machine as the sender information. Also, the fax ID is sent to the recipient as TSI information. Be sure to set this TSI information because it is required when the recipient uses the TSI Routing function. |
Registering the sender name
Register the sender name (machine name, company name) to be printed on the recipient's fax when sending a fax.
Select [Fax Settings] - [Header Information] in administrator mode of Web Connection (or in [Utility] - [Administrator] of this machine), and configure the following settings.
To register a new sender name, specify an unregistered number in the sender name list, and select [Edit].

[Sender Name] | Enter the sender name (using up to 30 characters). |
To edit or delete a registered sender name, specify the target sender name in the sender name list, then select [Edit] or [Delete].
Up to 20 sender names can be registered. You can use different names for different purposes depending on the destination. Select the default sender name in [Set as Default] of the sender name list.
If the sender name is not registered and the fax ID is registered, the fax number registered in the fax ID is printed as the sender information.
