When Reset on the control panel is pressed on the [COPY] screen, [SCAN] screen, or [STORE] screen, the machine clears all the conditions specified so far and restores arbitrary settings. This function is called Reset.
If Reset on the control panel is pressed on the [SCAN] screen, all the selected destinations are reset. However, the scan conditions specified on the Scan Settings screen are not reset.
If Reset on the control panel is pressed on the Scan Settings screen, settings are reset to arbitrary settings. The destinations selected on the [SCAN] screen are not reset.
Select whether to enable one of the following options as arbitrary settings.
[Full Auto]:
Returns to the factory default settings when the machine is reset. However, some settings may be changed.
[Initialize]:
Returns to the setting you selected on the [UTILITY] screen when the machine is reset.

If Mode Memory Auto Call is ON and data exists in No. 30 of the Copy Mode Memory, Scan Mode Memory, or Store Mode Memory, the conditions return to the settings in Mode Memory No. 30.
If Mode Memory Auto Call is OFF or data does not exist in No. 30 of the Copy Mode Memory, Scan Mode Memory, or Store Mode Memory, the conditions comply with [Copy Initial Setting], [Scan Initial Setting], or [Store Initial Setting].
These conditions are registered by pressing Mode Memory on the control panel.
When Reset is applied, the following settings become effective.
