Renaming the File of Hold Job

Select a job from the Hold Job list.

• You can operate print jobs that are set to PS, PDF, PDF (APPE), TIFF, JPEG, or PPML as the PDL type displayed in the job list, but you cannot do other types of print jobs, print jobs from the PPD driver, or copy jobs. However, by changing the setting of No. 28 in Utility/Counter - [Administrator Setting] - [Controller] - [Software Switch Setting], you can also operate a PPD job.

Select [Hold Job] - [Change File Name] from the [Job Operations] menu.

• You can also select [Change File Name] from the right-click menu.

The [Change File Name] screen is displayed.

Enter the file name to be renamed to within 63 characters, and click [OK].

• All the characters except the double quotation mark (") are available.

• If the entry box is blank, an error message is displayed.
