Paper jams may occur during printing or copying.
- Using the Air Blow Functions
The system features air-blowing functions. Use these functions to prevent paper jams and help prevent their reoccurrence.
The Air Blow functions blow air onto the paper loaded in the feed tray to ensure the paper is fed through smoothly. The air volume can be adjusted automatically, and its strength adjusted manually. The setting details may vary depending on the options mounted to the system. For details, refer to What Is the [Air Assist]?.
For details about how to operate the Air Blow functions, refer to the reference page.
