Horizontal Position Adj.(FD): Adjusting the Paper Feed Direction on Punch Hole Positions

Adjust the distance between the edge of the output paper between the center of the punch hole when paper is punched out in Z-Folding Unit ZU-608 mounted on Finisher FS-532.

  1. Press [Adjustment] on the [MACHINE] screen to display the [Adjustment Menu] screen.

  2. Press [Finisher Adjustment], [Z-Folding Unit Adjustment], [Punch Adjustment], and [Horiz. Position Adj.(FD)] in sequence.

  3. Press [Print Mode].

  4. Load the desired paper into a tray, then select that tray.

    • For [Output Setting], [Punch] is automatically selected.

  5. Press Start on the control panel.

    A sample pattern will be output.

  6. Measure the distance (a) from the edge of the printed paper to the center of punch holes.

    • Allowance: a = 10.5 mm ± 5 mm

  7. Press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the [Punch Horizontal Position Adj.(FD)] screen.

  8. If any adjustment is required, use the touch panel keypad to enter the set value.

    • Adjustment Range: ([Close]) -50 to +50 ([Far]) (1 step = 0.1 mm)

    • Press [+/-] to specify the value to be positive or negative.

  9. Press [Set] to change the setting with the Current Data.

  10. Repeat steps 3 to 9 until the desired result is obtained.

  11. Press [Return].

    The screen returns to the [Punch Adjustment Menu] screen.
