Toner access door

Touch panel

Displays screens such as the [MACHINE] screen to allow various settings and machine operations. Also, operation or troubleshooting procedures can be provided.

Sub power switch

Turns machine power on/off when pressed.

Service port (USB 2.0 Type A  3)

Used to connect devices such as an external storage medium (USB flash drive, USB-HDD), keyboard and mouse.

This port is available for low-power devices only. Please provide an external supply of power for devices that require a large amount of power. The length of a total cable which connects USB devices should be shorter than 3 m.

Working Table WT-512 (option)

Provides a convenient workspace for documents before and after copying.

Reverse automatic document feeder (ADF)

Mounted on Paper Feeder Unit PF-708. Automatically feeds multiple originals sheet by sheet, and scans images of the originals on the slit scan glass.

Right side door

Opens rightward for removal of paper jam.

Left side door

Opens to allow removal of paper jam or to turn on/off the main power switch.

Waste toner box door

Opens to allow replacement of the waste toner box.

Paper feeder unit connection port

Used to connect Paper Feeder Unit PF-708 by cable. It is provided only for the machine with Paper Feeder Unit PF-708 mounted.

Image controller connection port

Used to connect Image Controller IC-308 or Image Controller IC-310 by cable. It is provided only for the machine with Image Controller IC-308 or Image Controller IC-310 mounted.

Service port (USB 2.0 Type A  1)

Used to connect Authentication Unit (IC Card Type) AU-201.

Service port (USB 2.0 Type B 1)

Used to connect Image Controller IC-602 to operate the machine as a USB-connected printer.

Network port (10Base-T, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T)

Connected with an Ethernet cable to operate the machine, or to use the machine as a network printer/scanner.

Dust proof filter

Attached for cooling fan in order to keep out dust.

Heater switch

Turns on/off the heater of the machine.

Power cord

Supplies the main body with electric power.
